Frequently Asked Questions

What are the Club Objectives?

Our goals are to:

  • Help young people build an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Encourage Pathfinders to explore their God-given gifts through skills, service, and adventure
  • Serve the local community, especially those in need
  • Develop leadership by encouraging teamwork, responsibility, and initiative

Who Leads the Club?

The Orlando City Pathfinder Club is sponsored by WholeLife Church and Orlando Central SDA Church, part of the global Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Adventist Church is a Protestant Christian denomination that observes the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) and emphasizes Christ’s soon return, service, and holistic living.

Our current club directors are Tomas Diaz and Stacey King.

When and Where Do You Meet ?

We meet twice a month on Saturdays from 3:00–5:00 PM at:

WholeLife Church
2800 N. Orange Avenue
Orlando, FL 32810

Some events or meetings may be held at alternate locations. Please check the Events tab for the full calendar.

How much does it cost?

$35 Per Child

The suggested registration fee is $35 per child for the year.

We never want finances to prevent a child from joining. If the fee is a hardship, you’re welcome to contribute what you can — and that will be gratefully accepted. If you are in a position to sponsor another child, additional donations are always appreciated.  Pay registration by cash, check or online HERE

Who Can Join?

Any student in 5th–12th grade is welcome, regardless of church membership or religious background. We are a Christian club, but you don’t have to be a Seventh-day Adventist to participate. If you are in a position to sponsor another child HERE, additional donations are always appreciated.

What Kind of Activities Do Pathfinders Do?

  • Camping and survival skills
  • Honors in over 300 areas (like first aid, nature, arts, science, and Bible)
  • Community service projects
  • Spiritual development and Bible exploration
  • Team games, leadership challenges, and field trips

Is Parent Involvement Required?

Parent involvement is encouraged but not required. That said, we welcome volunteers, and there are many ways to support the club — from helping at events to assisting with transportation or leading a skill session.  CONTACT US to Volunteer.

Do Pathfinders Need a Uniform?

Yes, uniforms are a part of the Pathfinder experience. We’ll provide details on ordering Class A and Class B uniforms after registration. Assistance is available for families who need help covering uniform costs.
